Config required as below
a)New PH with PH class 2 for that day, to apply for all the PSA groupings as required.
b)Rule say B, for day types to return a 0 for PH class 2
c)DWS variant B where PH class = 2, and for any working day, with half day work hrs
d)Generate all WS from the holiday month
See if you have a problem with the no.of hrs in SSOLL (you can see this in the payroll log for XT00 sub-schema function GENPS or PARTT), then you may need to correct with a PCR the SSOLL hrs being used in any part of the payroll schema.
Test
1)Applying for leave on that day - partial day, full day
2)Time evaluation
3)Payroll
After you are satisfied,
(i)select some employees who would have such requirements as well as others who are not affected, from prod to test client,
(ii)get Payroll user to do UAT with any assistance they may need re: test scenarios and expected results.
After moving the transport/s to prod,
- perform some tests for a few emp as above,
- monitor prod results or issues

Hi HR Gurus,
As per my requirement, i want to configure half day holiday before Public Holiday. I have tried all the possible ways but still i am unable to find 4 hours from 8:00 to 12:00 in the generated work schedules. I would highly appreciate if anybody can please write down with the configuration steps.
