I'm understand you. I really like to go to the right [SAP] way.

Although what you propose is almost guaranteed to work. There are steps
like creating the Z table and of course your development will be tied to it.

But...

What I like most is its simplicity, just by reading it.

Not that you should go this way without searching for alternative results

There should be a more elegant way. I really would like to use SAP Standard.
Another option would be to use iDoc processing... But I also don't like the idea to create an iDoc within the same system (and client).
