Reply from john.louk on Feb 19 at 5:22 PM BDCP2 was delivered with ECC6 no EHP. At least, as far as I know have never played with ECC5. A couple of the change pointer create function modules are "CHANGE_POINTERS_CREATE" and "CHANGE_POINTERS_CREATE_DIRECT". The status update function module is "CHANGE_POINTERS_STATUS_WRITE". The delete program is "RBDCPCLR". The field that drives whether or not the old tables are being used is TBDA2-BDCP2_ACT. If this is an 'X', it points to the new table (BDCP2). Otherwise, it uses the old tables (BDCP and BDCPS). The configuration for the table TBDA2 is in two places. One activates the change pointer the other set which tables are being used. There is also another configuration that says that this configuration is OK to use the new table. Transactions like BD50, BD52, and BD60 are part of the configuration. Just the very tippy-top of the iceberg. Cheers John

We went to EPH6 not 5. We started at ECC6 and no EPH. So, how would I check what you are looking at? Neal | | Reply to this email to post your response. __.____._ | _.____.__ |
