Question from AngadPuri on Dec 16 at 8:11 PM I am working on a process which will consume a XML from an external system, parse it, and then insert it into the SAP DB. The issue is, while i have defined the table column as Long Varchar (had to do this, since the XML is more than 8000 characters), doing the same while writing the SP throws up an error. I checked online for the error, and found others have also faced the same issue. But couldn't find any reason or solution.
Would appreciate if someone could point out if there was something fundamental that i was missing.
I am working on SAP DB 7.4, the opensource DB.
