Reply from Deborah on Dec 12 at 2:29 PM I changed the configuration to optional for the shutdown in the asset class and the depreciation key. I then set the asset master record with an interval and selected the shutdown flag. That moved the planned depreciation out of 2011. I closed 2011 in AA, went back to the asset and deselected the shutdown in the master record. It worked. The planned depreciation stretches into previously unplanned periods in the future, though. Will posting an unplanned depreciation at the original end of useful life on the asset complete the depreciation as originally planned? Thanks again!!!

The business doesn't want to open OB52 and run the job. They would like to be to somehow depreciate in the current year (from previous years unposted depreciation). It doesn't seem possible to me. Any thoughts from the fixed assets guru team? Thanks for your time! | | Reply to this email to post your response. __.____._ | _.____.__ |
