Reply from horacio zapettini on Dec 6 at 1:15 PM Again you're missing the main idea: although this is a place to post doubts, it is NOT meant to help you in doing your job. We don't receive anything for helping (in most cases we don't even receive a simple THANKS for the effort and the knowledge sharing). We have our own deadlines too... SO reading IT'S URGENT is out of place. If you want, just check all the questions I've posted in the groups starting new threads... You'll find out that they are 4 (three of them never had an answer, although they were urgent..., and one of them (the newbest one had a couple of answers that weren't what I was looking for). I've never complaint because of that. In fact never put the urgency. On the other hand I've ever tried to do all what was at the reach of my hands to solve the problems. There used to be a policy in the group's policies against the URGENT problems (as toolbox, - ittoolbox in that time - understood that we were people helping in the time we could do it... so, the use of urgent was improper. And there used to be a time when our mods just rejected those mails to the original poster and asked him/her to remove that word(s) before publishing it. The other one is obvious. In a development group all the posts are due to "I'm in problem" Again, I understand why you used those terms... I'm just telling you it is not polite to use them in this context (we are peers all over the world giving hints, but by no way we are your employees - and I was thinking in a harder word out of use these days.. - We don't have to be hurried to bring help.... (hope it's clear...). BTW, many times, I've just droped the post, despite I knew the answer, because I found that our OP was hurrying us... Another point: bear in mind that your deadlines are exactly YOUR PROBLEMS (NOT the group's problem). Due to posts like this one I've stoped answering for a long period of time in the past. Perhaps, it's time to do the same again .... Horacio

In case of is_matnr-valuf, it will be is_matnr-valuef_int. i took the wrong attribute.. Thanks all for your support. And one thing Mr. horacio , This is an open and very good platform to solve the queries. However, someone can use it to gain knowledge also. It is not at all obvious that if i have some queries then i am in trouble. I can ask it for my knowledge also. If i am asking some thing for my knowledge, it wont imply that i am in a problem. But if i have a deadline to finish my work or have to report my client and i am unable to fulfill the requirement, then it will be a "PROBLEM". i hope you have understood, why i used the sentences 'ITS URGENT' and 'I AM IN PROBLEM'. | | Reply to this email to post your response. __.____._ | In the Spotlight Become a blogger at Toolbox.com and share your expertise with the community.
