You need to run transaction FAGL_ACTIVATE_OP Enter the required G/L account company code and effective date. Best to use the date from when the first transaction appears on the account. If you use today's date than all entries are lumped together and that then that will not allow you to clear the account once the programme has run. You have to set up a transfer account with no default restrictions in its field status.
Always do test run prior to actual execution and best to learn how to use the transaction in a test client before running it in production.
