Yes, just exactly as you mentioned, the cost center defined previously was not put enough though. This project is divided into phases, in previous phase (MM, SD & FI) was not include CO and PP.
However, now we are implementing CO and PP. Thus, there are some changes in cost center need to be done. From what i see, It requires only to adding new or modify current cost center hierarchy, but the client would like to re-construct all the cost center with having total new cost center code and the old code won't be used anymore. But no change in Profit Center.
I'm worry of this request from the client, and I'm not sure what are the impact and what need to check.

Can anyone let me know what is the impact of change cost center structure?
The client is requesting to change cost center structure meaning define a new cost center structure with different number and description. And the old cost center that define earlier will not be use anymore. However, there are many transaction have been posted to the old cost center.
May I know what is the impact, if I delete all the old cost center and define a new one?
