Reply from john.louk on Sep 27 at 1:49 PM You are possibly going to need configuration for an output determination (SD sales side terminology - transaction VOFM). This would be to create a new message on your PO (NAST). This would allow you to control the creation of the message by doc type (and other criteria if needed). Even this requires code. The email address would require more thought. If it is by vendor, there are options. But, it is probably going to require table changes. Probably a custom table. It depends what you mean by email addresses. Are these email addresses at he vendor? If they are in your company, then do you need email addresses? Does it then have to be an email? Cheers, John

No, I do not want to be an ABAPer..I'm just an MM girl with FI beginning.. But as I am responsible tor this issue now, I need to create functional and technical specification for it. Yes, acquiring the addresses is one of my big questions. I know that in case of using the same address for both PO and RA they need a separate entry in Vendor Master with appropriate remark in NOTE field (as far as I found, need to be case sensitive) My second big issue is, as I mentioned before, validation upon PO type and next, per Company code and Purchasing group. Simply - we have around 20 email addresses at one vendor master, 10 of them will be used for PO sending, 12 for RA (two will be both for PO and RA). First, check if the document type is appropriate, if not - stop the validation, next - check the company code/purch. group combination...Then send the PO and after it, RA when is created. Any idea?..
