Reply from wnash7658 on Aug 2 at 4:38 AM I don't have the VAT Package 2010 in my SAP system, but I think 4 only brings in the VAT number in the EU Sales List. I don't feel there would be a big issue, though why did SAP just not keep with using 2. I guess in the EU directive there must have been a transition period and then a go-live date for when services were included in the EU Sales List ... though I am only using previous advice to determine this one!
Roy is the true expert in this arena!!

Change eu code on tax code, Hi I have a current tax code where the eu code against it is incorrect, it should be set as 4 and not 2 to allow it to be reported on the EC sales list.. Has nayone changed an EU code on a live tax code. I know there is a check on the VAT number when posting a document fr EU code 4 but would like to know if anyone has experienced any other issues with changing this.
