Reply from Roy B on Aug 27 at 7:28 AM What you are talking about here is a consultancy assignment in itself. There is no one, simple answer. There are various options for doing consolidation in SAP and you need to use that which best suits your group structure, the reporting regulations in the country where you are consolidating and the SAP version you are using. In the latest version you have Business Objects Disclosure Management which replaces BO Finance. Previously you had EC-CS, which still exists. Then there are ways of combining the numbers from different entities within standard reports without doing a full legal consolidation and there is also the option to use BI. All of these require expert consultants to set them up correctly. Just to gather the requirements and do an outline blueprint for such a project would take between 30 and 60 consultancy man-days. Some people may attempt to answer your questions here but be warned by what I have said above. Without a thorough analysis and a professional design document you are not going to get answers you can use straight off the page. Rgds, Roy B.
