Hi Irfan,

If the batch record has already been generated in the system ie. the related record was found in MCHA table, then you can't remove any batch management indicator checkbox in the material master until after you archive your MCHA record. I found it quite stressful when deactvating the batch management for a certain material when the batch is generated.

Cheers,
HT

Subject: Wrong Update of Valuation Type for a Batch During Automatic Creation

Dear Consultants,

We are generating valuation types with batches which is automatically created with the configuration in OMWC with Valuation category "X" Automatic creation of val.types for batches for the plants.
When we create a stock transport Order PO, valuation type is updated wrongly. Say the batch 2110 the valuation type should be 2110 but the valuation type created is 2109. We have many materials for which the valuation type is wrongly updated. Now we want to change it and all these materials have postings against it with the wrongly updated valuation type.
Can any one suggest a solution for the issue. Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Irfan Ahmed
