Reply from SAP_EZ on Jun 1 at 11:51 PM Hello Lara, On the existing distribution rule, the To Period and To Fiscal Year fields are the ones to change to any month in the PAST. View the Last Used field to see the last settlement period with a settlement to completed asset. Type the same period and year into the fields mentioned in the first sentence. This will render the distribution rule invalid. On the next row of the settlement rule, add the asset to receive the remainder of the charges from AuC or from internal order. Now, if these fields are truly the ones you stated are grayed out, then either you had two sessions of SAP open at the same time (both viewing the settlement rule), or the WBS element is in CLSD status. If the date is in the past, the dist rule is already invalid now and going forward - so just add the new line with new completed asset receiver below it. If the WBS status is CLSD, you should not be attempting to use the WBS anyway. Regards, Greg

As settlement has taken place, the rule for the FXA line is 100%. Let's say that around 60% of the project has been settled so far. The other 40% must now be settled, but the accountants want the settlement that takes place now to go to a DIFFERENT asset. A new FXA line can't be added to the settlement rule now, as the 100% limit has already been reached. Is there any way that this can be achieved short of settling to the "old" asset and then transferring the values to the "new" asset manually?
