[sap-dev] Converting Pricing Tables from Pooled to Transparent

Question from Mark von Delft on May 29 at 7:12 AM
Hi gurus

In order to write diagnostic MM-queries, I'd like to convert some pricing
tables from pooled to transparent. I think I'll be able to get away with
doing only a few A+++ tables.

A brief Google search, and a similar SAP-notes search, says nothing about
converting pricing-tables, though there's a lot about converting tables in
general that doesn't mention pricing.

Does anyone have any experience with converting PRICING-tables in
particular? War-stories would be much appreciated.

The only snag I can see is some sorting-assumptions in standard
pricing-code, and a possible performance-impact. We're running Oracle, so
I'm not too worried about the latter (and ECC6 on AIX/Linux).

Profuse thanks in advance

Disclaimer (to cut down the noise):
* I already know that table-conversion can be done in SAP;
* I already know how to do it, and that the conversion takes time;
* Please only answer this if you have personally converted PRICING-tables,
or have been on a project where it was attempted;
* In short, this is a question for gurus, or those with experience.

(Sorry about that)
