Thanks for the quick reply.
The separation action has been run for all employees who left company services on 30/04/2012. Off-cycle payroll has been run only for some of these employees of which one was not selected. As I understand payroll will be run for an employee even if separation action is run so long as payroll is not locked in IT 0003. But here it is not running for one employee but at the same time it is running for others. Also there is no rejection which is really surprising.
Kindly help.

We are facing a strange problem during off-cycle payroll run for the last few months.Some employees are not getting selected at all for payroll processing. For the current month (May 2012) when off-cycle payroll was run for a group of 500 employees one employee was not selected. The relevant portion of the log file is given below.

As you can see only 499 employees are selected even though 500 employee numbers were given as input in the selection screen. There is no rejection. The employee for whom payroll was not run had left the company on 30/04/2012 and a separation action has been run. I have checked IT 0003 and found that payroll is not locked for this employee. Also payroll has been processed for other employees who have left the company on 30/04/2012.
Kindly help by giving your valuable suggestions.
