Whether it is planned depreciation or unplanned depreciation, when you
do data entry, the system does not post it into FI; instead, it
schedules your periodic depreciation. Posting of such scheduled
depreciation is a closing activity and an FI Document is created upon
your running the depreciation posting program.

respective asset there you will see the amount posted in unplanned
depreciation
