Reply from pia_nacho on May 23 at 12:56 PM Hello, Thank you for your response. Let's see if I can make myself clearer. I am working in a multinational and we give support to 50 company codes in 28 different countries. From time to time (once a year normally) we get the request from the TAX AUTHORITIES of any of the 28 sites. As an example, we have now got the request from IRS (USA Tax Authority) to "provide all financial transactional data of year 2010". This is the request. No more, no less. So, I find myself that with this level of detail I need to decide (tyogether with the business) which fields could be intereting for the tyax authority. But one thing is clear. I need to attack BSEG and BKPF because they want to have ALL. So my question/comment was basically in the direction of "...we cannot be the only company that TaxAuthority request data..." . "...I assume that USA Tax authorities (and other countries) require the same type of information from similar companies and that this type of information is always the same". "I also assume that SAP is aware of this and that I am not the only one that have made this questino before in a forum or to SAP directly". So I was hoping that there is/are a set/sets of "standarized" reports somewhere that could be used for this Tax Authority Requests. Oo if reports do not exist already, a way to efficiently being able to download huge amounts of data from the tables (such as BSEG) without killing the system or without having to split the downloads in months (and even weeks sometimes) due to that the amount of data is so big. I hope my point is now more claer. Thank you for the help and any advice. Kind regards. My name is Nacho. Pia is my wife :)

Spotted your original post in ERP-select, and the answer is "it depends on what data you want" You could try BSIS, BSAS, BSID, BSAD, BSIK, BSAK and BSIM. Or you could generate a custom table to collect and index this if it is so constant, although don't try this at home unless you have more than a bit of BASIS and ABAP knowledge. I'm not sure that the data retention tool would meet your needs, but then, i'm not sure what your needs are. Why would you need to provide all granular financial data from a table format? Most of the useful SAP tables in this area are runtime "tables" which you cannot query directly with se16 for instance. Loads of other ways to get to them, just not super-user accesible normally... But your business need is obscure: Is this external audit driven, SOX or GRC driven, or some kind of reporting need? Or data dumps for external orgs doing spend-cat projects or similar? If you can tells us a little more, i'm sure there are many here (myself inculded) who could help out? Rgds, Nic Harvard | | Reply to this email to post your response. __.____._ | _.____.__ |
