There is no need for table updation. Effect the table entries is a malpractise and we shall never encourage it. The best practise is if you have that document number that do transfer posting with clearing of the document from one B.A to another using TCode - F-51. Reply back in case of any difficulty.

Agree with Roy totally. Plus, the person recommending table update shows
little or no knowledge in terms of data dependencies and cross table
integrity. While I have not tried it, I very much suspect SAP would allow
such free access to critical transaction tables. |
