Question from Kate on Jan 23 at 8:07 PM I have a situation with Work Orders that are business completing when there are unapproved time entries. Time is done in ESS- employee self service, and at that time the order is check for validity (standard check). The order is in status teco'ed and will allow trailing costs. (order stays in TECO for 90 days b4 auto closure). The time entry then goes to the MSS system- for an approving manager for final approval. It is while sitting in the waiting approval stage that the order reaches the 90 days & is closed (nightly batch job). The manager subsequently approves the time & the time transfer creates an error pool in IW46 that the time cannot be transferred as the order is closed. We then have to go back & re-open closed orders and allow the time transfer to repeat. Is there some way to stop the order from closing if time entry's are pending in the MSS-managers self service system? The Order will not close if there are pending GR/GI etc, but will close if there are pending time entry(s) in MSS. Thanks | Reply to this email to post your response. __.____._ | _.____.__ |
