Dear Raghunath,

Block retroactive run for all, once the payroll run over no retroactive
permissible. You can control this by configuring V_T582A for IT2001 to
have filled pass entry to E.

If any retroactive entries comes for others personnel numbers can be
uploaded separately.

Hope this helps your query.

Thanks,
Sekar Devaraj

Subject: Block Infotypes for Separated Employees

Dear Sekar Ji,

We have separate time/attendance management system and is not directly linked with SAP. All the entries are posted manually through PA30/PA70.

For full and final settlements all respective entries related to attendance, absence, overtime, recoveries, etc. are posted by various users directly in the system at various locations and finally the clearance for calculating final settlement will be forwarded by the HR to us for final calculations.

We run the simulation payroll for the left employee after various checkings. The final payable or recovery amount will be forwarded to HR and the amount is paid or recovered from the employee accordingly. The final actual process/run is done only at the month end along with other employees during the month end salary run.

In such cases if any further alternations/modifications done in between in any of the infotypes, then the figure already informed earlier changes and creates difficulties as it may be a different payable/recoverable figure.

E.g.:
"X" employee left on 15.11.2011
Basic salary - Rs. 30000
Expected salary for the period (15 days) - Rs. 15000 as per simulation run
This amount will be paid to the employee on 15.11.2011 and he leaves after final settlement.

Say, on 20.11.2011 HR team posts an absence of 1 day for the date 3.11.2011.

Since we calculate the final run only on 30.11.2011, his payable salary will be reduced to Rs. 14000, whereas we paid Rs. 15000 at the time of his final settlements.

My intention is to stop such situations strictly through system?

Thanks,
Raghunath
