Hi Tarun,
1) when you creating a operating chart of Account(T Code-OB13) in
that screen only you can maintain the Group Chart of Account and it should
be assigned with Operating chart of account.
2) yes , you are correct but all company code should have same country.
3) Not necessary but why you want to create more company code ?
4) yes , its not correct. operating chart of Account -> day today
transactions and country specific is used for legal , tax transactions

1) How do I create a Group Chart of Accounts - what is the T. Code
2) Is Group COA is useful only when you create different COA for each company codes. This I guess will only happen when Country wise specific COA is created which have a different structure and all of these individual COA will then be assigned to a single COA which will be a Group COA
3) If I use the same COA across all the company codes, then is it necessary to create
a Group COA.
4) Is it not correct to say that any Operating COA is equivalent to a Country Specific COA as each Country specific COA is also an Operating COA
