Ben,
Look into DATASET commands. You may not even need to "move" the file from the off-premise server to an on-premise server. As long as the folder on the off-premise server is visible to your ABAP program you should be able to access it directly with OPEN DATASET, etc.
Cheers,
Terry

Subject: Interface File Upload

Hello,

We have our ECC system hosted today through a third party, the system appears as servers on our Microsoft Windows Network even though they aren't on site.

We have developed ABAP programs that will import a specific file and write it to the gl and other various FICO code blocks for purposes of system interfaces, the issue is we do NOT have access to put the file on the SAP ECC Windows APP server that is hosted. Is there an ABAP program or code set that will take the file from server (a) and move the file to the app server for the background job to pick up?

Thanks.
