Hi In my personal opinion too...... I agree with Roy's opinion in that open item management is sought for with regard to deferred revenue accounts. As long as the deferred revenue reaches its final destination in the profit and loss account and above the bottom line, it is a liability requiring follow up. In my view, just as you manage your creditors ( a liability .....of course of a different kind ) and follow up the same with open item management, it makes sense to manage deferred revenue also likewise.
