Check the language settings applying to the PO and in FI. ANZ is the German abbreviation for down payment (= ANZAHLUNG). Much of the SAP system was originally written in German and then translated into other language. For the same reason the SGL indicator for a down payment is 'A' not 'D'. Since I speak German this would not bother me, but maybe a question to the SAP OSS would also be a possibility.

Subject: Downpayment in Appearing as "ANZ' and not "Dpyt" in P.O.?

Hi,

I am configuring the downpayment with respect to P.O. and it is appearing in the P.O. history but it is appearing as "ANZ' and not 'Dpyt" as short text.

Please suggest what should I Do

Regards
