Hi TSDIVI will not be the same in all conditions. The total of TSDIVI in a period varies depending mainly on splits, and also absences, etc. This is a common problem in using TSDIVI. If you look at the explanation in the help for NUM or AMT and then drill down to the help fir partial pay factors, you will understand. I would suggest using TSDIVP. This will result in using a constant value of number of hrs in a pay period. It can be from IT 8. This helps in using a constant hourly rate. Regards, JG

For e.g. we configured maternity leave for them. For the month of august, there are 23 actual working days. An employee was on maternity leave from the 01st to the 10th of August. So the client does the calculation as follows: Basic salary (e.g. 1856) No.of days absent (01st Aug to 10th Aug) = 8 No. of days worked (11th to 31st Aug) = 15 As per Maternity leave, employee will earn 50% of basic salary for absent days. Salary calculation = 50% of (1856/22 * 8) + (1856/22 * 15) = 1602.91 But, the system calculates the salary as follows: Basic salary (e.g. 1856) No.of days absent (01st Aug to 10th Aug) = 8 No. of days worked (22 days - 8 absent days) = 14 Salary calculation = 50% of (1856/22 * 8) + (1856/22 * 14) = 1518.55 The payroll consultant says that it is impossible to set the system to calculate 22 days for some scenarios and 23 days for some. Is there any other option thru which we can resolve this problem. Upon raising the ticket with sap, they say it is a consulting issue. So we have hit a rock here. Please help. Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks and regards, Arch. | | __.____._ Copyright © 2011 Toolbox.com and message author. Toolbox.com 4343 N.
