Hi,

You can achieve this by:

1.a) In XT00 after PAB - call with ACTIO.
Check if the absence hours exceed the maximum allowed.
If exceeding, set a value say 1 in a variable say ZNPY. Else set value as zero.
1.b) In subsequent processing, if the variable ZNPY do not process any w/t that is used do not process any payment or deduction.

2. Alternative is to lock the employee in IT 3. This locking can be done manually or through user exit LXPADU01 / 02 coding for IT 2001. This code should also work when the absence is updated which would reduce the number of absence hours - i.e., to remove the lock.

Hope this helps.
Regards,
JG

Subject: Automatic Blocking of Payroll in Case of UNAB

Dear Experts,

We have a requirement of blocking respective month's payroll automatically in case a person is having unauthorized absence, UNAB more than 7 days. We maintain leave manually in in IT2001. Also same should be intimated to HR Admin by auto-triggered mail before month-end payroll

Please advise, how to achieve it.

Tan
