Hi
To create a leave quota on any day, you can do as below
a)Create a time type say 9Qxx with xx as quota type, for the day only, without any accumulation.
b)In V_T559L - Generation rules, for whichever groupings required and the quota type xx - accrual tab: Set the daily time type = 9Qxx,
Frequency: daily.
c)As Abirami said, in a time eval PCR, the time type 9Qxx is assigned for the relevant groupings and quota type xx, if current day is 1st day of year, determine how many hrs are to be assigned to the t/t 9Qxx.

Absence counting and assigning quota type/s for deducting does not affect abs quota generation.

After configuring, test in Dev/test client with enough scenarios, before moving to QA for UAT.

Subject: Automatic absence quota entitlements

Hi experts,

I've been doing re-implementation from version 4.7 to ECC 6.0 Ehp 4 for SAP HR.
in version 4.7, the client use the leave entitlement (IT 0005) in order to record the leave entitlement.

Questions:
1) What is the difference between absence quota (IT2006) with leave entitlement (IT005)? Should I use absence quota instead of leave entitlement in ECC 6.0?

2) How to generate absence quota automatically and set the validity of the quota based on the years of service?
ex: each year, employee get 9 days of quota
2009 = 9 days
2010 = 18 days (9 days + 9 days from the previous balance(carry forward))
2011 = 9 days (assume that all the 18 days in 2010 is not used, so it can't be used any more)

Really appreciate any reply, if my question is not cleared, feel free to ask for any details.

Thanks & Regards,
nessia
