If you want to monitor Background Activity including SAP Netweaver BW Process Chains e.g., you might want to have a look at the Business Process Monitoring, Job Monitoring/BW Process Chain Monitoring. Multiple key figures/KPIs are available for monitoring objects around jobs/process chains, including termination, start delay, runtime, ?
