1. Read the Tub with your business people to determine the changes effecting your client. Example : New Tax Type 11 (Employer Debt Repayment Tax) has been introduced for CT.
2. Determine all the configuration item. Example: Create a new Tax Combo for Tax Type 11 and assign it to CT Tax Authorities.
3. Do the Unit Testing to make sure the configuration working fine. Example: Payroll Driver is generating wagetypes /411, /611 and /711 and not taxing beyond the Tax Ceilings introduces in TUB for the new Tax Type.
4. Do the Payroll Parallel testing in QA environment and have business validate the testings results.

Subject: TUBS Testing and Configuration
I haven't dealt much with TUBS. I know there have been QA on the TUBS but I still need more directions.
What are things that I need to test if the test updates are to add new tax types, modify tax types and modify garnishments?
What would be the steps for testing the above scenarios? What should I be looking for once I update this configuration?
Is there anything else I need to do as a functional consultant? I would appreciate it if you can give detail steps as to what you usually do when it comes to TUBS. |
