There are a lot of ways to filter idocs and data using ALE without writing code. I would not use a custom copy of any of the ALE relevant programs. If I was unable to use the delivered tools to filter to an acceptable level I would look at creating a custom IDOC.

Keep in mind that each of your target systems can have its own model with its own rules etc. If you have change pointers set and then collect the data and generate the IDOCs and then filter you can set it up for a variety of target systems. Hard to know what is best without knowing the requirements. I also know that evaluation paths can be used to filter, these may be the best way depending on your requirements.

Subject: Multiple Other Systems (e.g. eRecruiting, SRM etc) Connected to our ECC System Via ALE.

Hi Greg,

Thanks for your response. How could we utilize the SAP standard change pointer program "RBDMIDOC" to send part of the org structure changes (Orgunits) to one target and at the same time changes to the whole org str to another target system?
From your experience would we have to create a Z version of "RBDMIDOC" or is there a SAP standard approach to this without too much custom development.

Thanks
Nash
