Hi, I don't have any experience with Canadian payroll but cycles and schema's have no secrets for me. Because I don't know if you have any payroll splits, I would recommend the use of variables and two calculation rules Create rule 1 for preparing (Eg "(RL1": define rue 1 generic, but for wagetypes 1050, 5108 and /BER only, call it with PIT (RL1 ___ NOAB * 1050 ZERO= ANR ADDWT * "Wagetype is zero even if it existed before * 5108 D AMT?0 = ADDWT * * ADDWT * AMT=1 ADDWT&5108 "When variable 5108 gets value 1 we know wagetype 5108 exists and is not 0 * /BER ADDWT * ADDWT &/BER "even /BER is splitted, the total is stored in varible /BER second rule "(RL2) Cal this in your schema with ACTIO (RL2 * **** AMT=& 5108 AMT?0 "5108 did not exist = AMT=& /BER ADDWTI1050 "value of /BER to wagetype 1050 Hope this helps Regards Luc Kusters

We are using a modified version of Flexible Benefits. I am trying to determine the best way to pay out unused Flexible Benefit Credits to the employee. I need to add a condition like that shown below and assume it should be added somewhere in the Payroll schema (Canadian payroll): Set wagetype 1050 to zero If wagetype 5108 = 0 or does not exist then copy value in wagetype /BER to wagetype 1050 Could you advise on the coding required for this and where it should be inserted? Thank you. | | __.____._ Copyright © 2011 Toolbox.com and message author. Toolbox.com 4343 N. Scottsdale Road Suite 280, Scottsdale, AZ 85251 | | Popular White Papers In the Spotlight _.____.__ |
