Hi,
This is probably due to file permission issue with dev_coll.tmp. Check and correct it. Also try with saposcol pf=<profile>
Be cautious while using ./saproot.sh since this should be used when is down that is after stopping sap system.

The saposcol is not running in FCI system.
when i did OS logon to the system it showed that :
-> usr/sap/tmp/dev_coll.tmp failed....
->cannot open log file usr/sap/tmp/dev_coll.tmp.
->make sure the directory exist usr/sap/tmp.
->in profile and run saposcol pf = <profile>
but the file dev_coll.tmp file exist in the tmp directory.
If so what s the error and how to rectify it ????
