If you want a reversal that is dated later than the posting date of the original incorrect document, then it is possible using the appropriate reason code for reversal.
Default reason codes 01 (normal reversal) and 03 (negative reversal) cause a reversal to happen using the same posting date as that of the original incorrect document ( you do so when the posting period remains open ).
Default reason codes 02 (normal) and 04 (negative) cause a reversal in a future open period in respective of an earlier incorrect document posting period of which stands closed during the reversal.
Default reason code 05 is generally used for reversal of accruals. You could also create reason codes for reversal in the current or future period using normal or negative methods.
