Hi,
Yes we can have internal as well as external number range. Pleae try the below configuration:
SPROPM--Org Management-Basic Settings-maintain number range
Choose the Subgroup and select Maintain number range.
Ensure that the "Status" of the internal number range is zero. Choose your internal number range as low and try a configuration as shown in the below example.
Ex:
No. From To Current EXT
EX 30000000 399999999 X
IN 00000000 000000001 X
Try using the expert mode for creation for creation of object types with external number range. Ex. For position use Po13 and key in the object id in the initial screen and then click on create. Similarly you can use it for creating other object types.
