One can use bapi_network_maintain ..to change / delete / add activities-units of network .
also search se37 with bapi_network* and you will find the whole repertoire that is being provided in this regard,
same with WBS :- bapi_wbs*
:-) But these interfaces would not help you upload from an excel or even text fille
, you need to call these bapi's in a loop (of internal table that reads data from desktop files .xls or .txt ) and build the logic by understanding the interfaces of BAPI.
If you are already getting your network maintained by an Excel file , then what other automation you want to build ?
In my opinion you might have a look at your requirements .
btw there are desktop integration tools in which Microsoft ole applications ( like Microsoft Excel and word ) can login to sap using RFC Dlls and the using BAPI / RFC calls make changes to applications(PS in your case). Have a look at sap helps relevant section in this regard . Search for BAPI Activex controls .
