Hi There is something I do not understand in what you say. Do I understand right in assuming that you have not been able to carry out the depreciation program at all ? Unplanned Depreciation carried out , if any , would not create any FI document. It would only plan the depreciation and FI documents with accounts posting would be created upon running the Depreciation Program only. If this is the case, then I do not understand what kind of reversals (AB08 ) could have been carried out. What kind of FI documents ( what account was debited and what account was credited ?) were generated when you carried out the reversals? This could perhaps throw a clue about what might have gone wrong. Regards VidhyaDhar

Restart is for when program abends, after you fix error that halted the run. Repeat is when you need more AFAB processing for same period. Please, others correct me if I am wrong on this, but has been my long understanding. Some situations require you to first run Recalculate, AFAR, such as if you changed master data to the extent that previously calculated depreciation in open periods would now be calculated differently or for different amount. But we are not talking here about the failure of an AFAB to run to normal completion, or the simple fact of new assets not yet depreciated for the period. Please mark if helpful.
