I've never worked with this PK01/02 before, but general "snooping" techniques lead me to believe that you will have to implement a different user exit to check for errors. A quick check for function exits in tcode PK01 (using the publicly-available custom tcode ZUX) suggests that you try implementing enhancement MPKCCY02, "Customer Error in SumJC Control Cycle."
