You cannot transport only ABAP source codes in your system without a container (e.g. programs, function modules, etc.).
sample:
R3TR PROG Program - Container of ABAP Source Codes
LIMU REPS Report Source Code - Located in your program
If there's already an existing program for it, it will be overwritten, if not you'll get an error during import due to missing objects.

Thanks for reply. Yes , we can do through transports.
My question is , is it possible to move only the ABAP source codes(without obstructing the existing ABAP objects) to target system. We have around 2000 ABAP codes in the source system , some of them are missing in target system or not the latest code in the target system.
