The user ID in this field is referring to the ID issued by the SSA for the person who has registered with them to be the submitter for the W2s. It is not necessarily the same person who will be generating the forms in Tax Reporter.

I am having a problem with the RA record in the temse file for federal return.. It appears that we need to use a field name for the field in position 12 of the Submitter Record. It is described as User identification. I assume it is the user id of the person creating the file. I have attempted to change the definition of the tax form and have tested the following field names:
bname, sy-uname, uname,dcreator, and username. I have re-created the temse with each of these fields and none of them are bringing in the user name. I have looked in OSS notes and not found any notes to fix this.
I have changed the form and inserted the user id of the person who created the file this year into the field, Directly Assigned Content. When I tested this change, the file did contain the user name. I assume this is really a hard code. Next year it could be someone different and I will need to change configuration again, unless I can use a field name.
Does anyone know the correct field name for this field?
