No, it does not since for the function OUTAL, the input has to come from
the ALP table only and OUTALPLANS should be a numeric value .
That is why when your attendance exists, it is being read through
function P2002 and that stores a value in the ALP which is further
processed.
When an attendance is not there then you land up with an error.
Just try and put an operation LEAVE in the portions of the rule
*,**,***,****,***** and ****** try . Maybe it may work but i have my
doubts since it is not recognizing any existence of a rule.

Subject: OUTAL PLANS - technical error 57

I am calling it with RTIP ZGWT GEN so it can process it for each time pair. The ALP associate to each time pair is being read.
For my case if no ALP exist I would expect the return value to fall in ******** since the answers does not correspond to any of the specified value. The PLANS field is defined as numeric 8.

The operation does not allow to question value using a ? (ex: OUTALPLANS?0) therefore the only possible answer would be for the return value to fall under ********.

Does this make sense?

Patricia
