The behaviour that Adeel describes would not be changed by rdisp/alt_max_modes, which limits the # of concurrent sessions per terminal. What's described is the same user logging into a different (2nd) terminal which results in a logon pop-up box that prompts one to either: 1-'continue with this logon, terminating prior sessions'; 2-'continue with this logon without terminating other sessions'; 3-'terminate this login' (I don't remember the exact text, but its similar to that). Refer to Note 142724 https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/142724 and that one may cross-reference others also. If each user has his own account and protects his own password, there should be no cases where one user can bump off another one by logging into a 2nd terminal. If the users are sharing accounts and/or passwords (very bad!) then I'm not so sure that you can prevent that scenario from happening. Regards,
