Hi Sridhar,
I have done as you said. I have three lines, CTR, ORD and WBS, but only ORD is checked in the "By Cost Element" column.
If it check the box, I am getting the following message:

Subject: Define a settlement cost element for receiver type ORD
Go to OKOA
Select Allocation structure and click 'choose'
Select the one the maintenance order is using and go to assignment
click on settlement cost element.
You should have an entry for ORD - if not maintain the same.
If you have multiple lines in the assignment, select each of them .
