Hi Linh,

It won't change the value of your special stock at all as such change will only take place when the actual stock transfer posting is made in your system (not at the time of changing the standard cost).

Cheers,
HT

Subject: Special stock items not valuated as standard price

Dear all,

I would appreciate if you could help me with below case:

We are using the special stock (customer) and the material items in these special stock are evaluated not at the actual standard cost as all the material in the freestock but at the standard cost of the date when the items moved from the free stockto the special one.

Currently when we calculate and release the new standard cost at the beginning of the fiscal year this procedure do not change the value of the items in the special stock.

Now we would like to have all the items in stock valuated at the actual standard cost even if they are in free or special stock.

Please advise.
Thank you very much.

Rgds,

Linh
