Subject: Absence quota deduction end date configuration
Hi,
I have an absence quota for PH off-in-lieu. Usually, the deduction end date for this is set as 31 Dec of the year. Right now, I'm facing a challenge whereby the off-in-lieu for PH that falls in Dec should be extended to 28 Feb of the following year instead of the usual 31 Dec.
For instance, the deduction end date for this year's Christmas Day off-in-lieu should be 28 Feb 2011, whereas the deduction end date for PH off-in-lieu that falls before Dec should be 31 Dec 2010.
One option I have is to use LSMW to extend the end date in IT2006. However, I'm also looking at whether this can be achieved by config, which will cater to future off-in-lieu that falls in Dec.
Would appreciate any advise on this.
