Hi,

you can delete those files but only when SAP is down. just search SAP notes to learn what they are used for before attempting this.

Subject: Spool Error - Can I remove stat / PAGFIL02

Dear All,

I had read all old spool errors related topics but could not found satisfied answer.

Some few days I had watching File system full /usr directory has shows 100% full and spool error shows Disk Full with path (file /usr/sap/<SID>/D02/data/0016uoRl.<SID>) Somebody has tell me go to /usr/sap/<SID>/D02/work and delete core file I have deleted core file from last two days. Definitely it's decreased the /usr file size from 100% to 75% but in /usr/sap/<SID>/D02/data . So many stat* file is creating with huge size one more file PAGFIL02 too.

Can I remove stat / PAGFIL02 files and tell me that is the correct way to delete daily core file in work directory.

Regards,

N.S.Rathore
