Took your suggestion and duplicated the NTAMD64 folder and renamed it to the NTI386. Got past that step.

Posting another question now.

Thanks

Subject: EHP4 install error on PREP_INPUT/KX_CPYORG

This is a windows server 2008, 64 bit , DB2/OS390 on mainframe

When trying to install this upgrade, I get to the above step and get stopped on the following error:
Cannot open d:\usr\sap\snd\sys\exe\nuc\NTI386\instance.lst

The problem lies in the file exists in the following location: d:\usr\sap\snd\sys\exe\nuc\NTAMD64\instance.lst

SAPEXE variable points to the d:\usr\sap\snd\sys\exe\nuc\NTAMD64 location.

The KX_CRYPORG log file contains the following:

1 ETQ201 Entering upgrade-phase "KX_CPYORG" ("20110111113556")
4 ETQ399 Set environment for standard connect:
2 ETQ367 Connect variables are set for standard instance access
4 ETQ399 System-nr = '00', GwService = 'sapgw00'
4 ETQ399 Environment variables:
4 ETQ399 dbs_db2_schema=SAPR3
4 ETQ399 auth_shadow_upgrade=0
1 ETQ206 Executing pre-phase DB specific actions.
1 ETQ200 Executing actual phase 'PREP_INPUT/KX_CPYORG'.
1 ETQ399 Source directory: D:\usr\sap\SND\SYS\exe\nuc\NTI386
1 ETQ399 optional list file 'dbclient.lst' not found at directory 'D:\usr\sap\SND\SYS\exe\nuc\NTI386' - copy files skipped
1 ETQ399 optional list file 'igsexe.lst' not found at directory 'D:\usr\sap\SND\SYS\exe\nuc\NTI386' - copy files skipped
1 ETQ399 optional list file 'sapcrypto.lst' not found at directory 'D:\usr\sap\SND\SYS\exe\nuc\NTI386' - copy files skipped
1 ETQ399 Using copy list: instance.lst
1 ETQ399 Using copy list: instancedb.lst
1 ETQ399 Copying files from 'D:\usr\sap\SND\SYS\exe\nuc\NTI386' to 'D:\EHPI\abap\exe'
2 ETQ399 Reading list file 'D:\usr\sap\SND\SYS\exe\nuc\NTI386\instance.lst'

Where is it getting the wrong path from? I don't know where the Source Directory is getting its path from.

Thanks for any input. I did open a message with SAP on this. Will respond with their solution/ideas as well.

Phil
