Did it used to be fast and now is slow? Or was it always slow? What are the characteristics of the machine where SAPLPD runs? Is it a $1M server or an end user's PC?
How many pages will print in 25 minutes - single-sided or double? When you checked the output of the SAPLPD console, did you see anything unusual? Every SAPLPD action is journaled with a timestamp, but I'm not sure if you can capture the console output and paste it back to us. See what you can do.
