If you wish to fill the information structure S039 with actual data, then you can use the report RMCBS039. It is always advisable to fill this information structure with actual data if you want to access actual data for the forecast during planning, or if you want use the flexible analyses to evaluate the extra key figures from Inventory Controlling.

MCBE is an LIS structure and therefore you need to look at the configuratio
n for the underlying table to find out what defines that a material will be
added to it. Since some companies modify SAP-delivered LIS structures it
is not possible to definitively say what this trigger will be at your compa
ny site, but the standard update trigger is based on inventory documents po
sted by material.
