Hi Mike,

"B" represents for "Automatic / Manual and Check in USER EXIT". By activating the user exit, you will let SAP to validate the batch number which is assigned (either manually or automatically) to your material upon GR posting.

Cheers,
HT

While doing a GR I don't want the end user to enter a manual batch#. In config via
Logistics General > Batch management > Creation of new batches > Define batch creation for goods movement.
In there I changed "New Batch" from "Auto. / manual no check " to "Auto. / no manual creation" for movement type 101. It still allowed me to create a batch# manually while doing the MIGO with a 101 movement type. But only if it that batch# existed before for that same mat'l. I don't ever want the end user to create a manual batch# even if the batch# existed before for that mat'l.

Am I missing something else?
