You could create a soft link for the data and cofiles directories. /usr/sap/trans/cofiles or /usr/sap/trans/data

Subject: Problem with slow remote client copy

Hi David,

Noted. Thanks.

Perhaps, I will consider using the client export/import next time. But, I wanted to get as much information as possible first in order to get prepared.

I've another question, I've checked on my PRD and QAS systems, the "trans" directory is actually a mount point. In this case, both systems are using the same "trans" mount point.

Moreover, based on the fact that my "trans" disk space is insufficient, is it possible to create a soft link pointing to a bigger disk?

Will it work this way when I perform client export/import?

Will it be able to redirect the new transport files to the new location?

Please advice.

Thanks.
